If you experience glaucoma with damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity and fields of vision, and in posterior subcapsular cataract formation, suppression of the host response, increasing the hazard of secondary ocular infections, thinning of the cornea or sclera, perforations, or masking or enhancing existing infection, see a doctor immediately. Prolonged use and exacerbation of severity of many viral infections of the eye can also occur.

Who should not take it

Do not take if you have glaucoma with damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity and fields of vision, and in posterior subcapsular cataract formation. Do not take if you have suppression of the host response, increasing the hazard of secondary ocular infections. Do not take if you have thinning of the cornea or sclera, perforations. Do not take if you have masking or enhancing existing infection. Do not take if you have prolonged use and exacerbation of severity of many viral infections of the eye. Use with caution if you have glaucoma. Use with caution if you have a history of herpes simplex. Use with caution after cataract surgery as it may delay healing and increase the incidence of bleb formation.
